Jay Meadows had the opportunity to grow up with family that lived the cowboy life and family that were heavy into business.
He decided to go to school while pursuing baseball but realized that he may not be good enough to make a career out of it so he went all in on learning business.
After graduating he became a stock broker. He had plenty of things to learn about the business but he had the privilege of being naively optimistic and that allowed him to have a lot of success.
He was forced to change careers and with the help of a strong network of mentors he was guided in the direction of mortgage fraud prevention, an industry that wasn’t even invented yet.
Once again Jay went all in and the company became a huge success.
In his “retirement” he’s still investing and looking for opportunity as well as living his dream ranching and team roping.

Dillon Crumpler was addicted to horses from an early age.
His family was in the cutting horse and farming business so he grew up around it.
Dillon knew school wasn’t for him so when he graduated high school he went straight to working in his family’s cutting horse program.
Like many young men he wanted to see something different so he went to work for another trainer and eventually became a head trainer under one owner and then became a full fledged independent trainer leasing a place and riding customer horses.
He began to burn out over time being overworked and underpaid with all the stress of owning your own operation.
He was able to find a new opportunity in turning out cattle on wheat pasture and got busy with that.
Through that operation he was also able to find some grass leases that he turned cows out on.
He’s recently been able to get back to his passion and has started a cutting horse operation back up. One of the first ones was a big hit selling for 1 million dollars at the futurity sale.

Forrest grew up around the car business but he found his real passion in rodeo.
The Elder name was known in East TX for their dealership but not known for rodeo. Forrest found some buddies that got him roping and after he went to his first rodeo one weekend he was hooked.
After pursuing rodeo through high school and college he realized he was also going to have to get some kind of job also so he went back to the dealership to start at the bottom as a salesman.
He had to learn a whole new set of skills to be successful in this area. Forrest was also able to move up and learn all the aspects of the business.
Eventually this led him to be able to open his own dealership, Elder Cedar Creek.
He continues to grow as an owner and is constantly seeking knowledge and ways to improve not only the customer experience but also the work environment for his employees.
