Ep 054 - The Long Way Around: Heston’s Path from Uncertainty to Ownership

Heston grew up ranching and training horses with his family but he went to college unsure what he wanted to do with his life.

He fell back into rodeoing and riding some outside horses in college and then had an opportunity to go work for a guy that was building a horse program and that job allowed him to also day work and ride other outside horses.

Heston was living the dream doing this but he realized it wasn’t sustainable. He started keeping an eye out for other opportunities and of course he found one.

It came in the form of running a feed store with the intention of ownership one day. Although it didn’t work out like that.

Unemployment found him seeking opportunities again and if course he found one in buying another Ag business.

They’ve been able to grow Agrotech since taking the reins and he’s been able to get back into some ranching and riding horses again.
