Ep. 024 - Shaping Dreams: The Rise of Double R Hat House

Emilio started out like a lot of us, not really knowing what he wanted to do with his life.

He got the opportunity to go to a trade show and shape hats at a booth. Emilio really enjoyed every aspect of that. He was able to interact with people and he realized he had a talent for shaping hats to how people wanted them.

There was a need in his area for a custom hat shop and he thought it was the perfect opportunity. He opened Double R Hat House where you can go buy high quality open crown hats and get them shaped to your liking.

Of course that have been struggles along the way like most small businesses have. At first it was wondering if there would be any customers and then came so many customers it was hard to keep inventory and also have enough help to attend to the customers.

Emilio has figured these problems out and continues to learn and evolve as the business and customer needs evolve.

Learning isn’t something you did, it’s something you do.
