Ep. 018 - Cody Shelley: Auctioneer, Business Owner

Growing up Cody had a passion for roping and rodeo but he also had a passion for auctioneering.

After pursuing rodeo for a while he decided to go all in on becoming an auctioneer and put roping on the back burner.

Cody found jobs wherever he could selling whatever he could and finally found a home in DFW selling vehicles. He’s been able to sell everything from a beat up junker to a super car.

He realized that his income was capped being an auctioneer because he can only work so much and he also wanted to spend time at home with his family. This led Cody to start his own business Platinum Horse Sales. This is an online horse sale platform that brings quality buyers and quality horses together. After finding success in that he decided to branch out again and start Platinum Auction Group which sells mainly farm and ranch equipment.
