I am longtime Burleson resident and a veteran of the Texas school systems since 1988.  I retired from BISD in 2016 after serving at Burleson High School, then spent three post-retirement (if you can call it that!) at Southwest Christian School.  I also have been in an adjunct in government for Hill College in 2004 (dang I’m old) and I began my adjunct tenure at Dallas Baptist this year.  

I am a proud Green-and-Gold graduate of Baylor University, with a MA in Political Science from the University of Texas, Arlington. I have been a part of this community since 1991, a member of First Baptist Church here in town, and a ranting know-it-all of local acclaim.  

I look forward to this endeavor and I hope you find it worth your time. So Sic’em Bears/Mavericks/Elks/Eagles/Rebels/Patriots!  (forgive me, I get confused sometimes).
